Membership into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and the Sigma Omega Zeta Chapter is by invitation only. However, our chapter's membership committee and members are always on the look out for women who exhibit the ideals of our sorority. If you are in Clayton County, Henry County, or the surrounding area, we would love to hear from you. We encourage you to contact our membership coordinator, Shewan Johnson, she will share opportunities to get to know us and membership benefits and information.
Minimum Requirements for New Membership to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
- Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited college or university
- An earned 2.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the bachelor’s level or advanced degree if within 3 years of graduating
- Undergraduate transcript
- Exhibited commitment to community service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood
- Participate in anti-hazing activities as defined in Zeta’s Policy Against Hazing.
Please note: You are never required to participate in hazing activities to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. In fact, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., are prohibited from engaging in hazing.
